Making a link to the Women's Centre

This week’s Guardian Bike blog examined the issue of female specific cycling events, with a contribution from CTC’s sportive organiser, Business Development Manager John Storms.  With other cycling organisations launching their own campaigns to recruit more women cyclists, the topic is a very pertinent one. In the blog, John said: "The sportive population can be as much as 90:10 men to women, and sometimes this is quite intimidating...participants want a feeling of sameness with those around them."
